Tetris DS: Marathon Mode
March 23rd, 2006
I just bought the DS version of Tetris, a classic game. I know what everyone says, “Oh yeah, I love Tetris! I’ll totally play it all the time!” And then they don’t because Tetris is a “dumb and boring” game. Well I’m here to tell you all, Tetris DS brings on a whole new level of brain-hurt (I mean this in a good way).
I got to level 13 in “Marathon Mode” where you basicly just play until the game gets too fast for anything to happen. Well at level 10, the game gets to pee-your-pants-fast. By the time I got to level 13 I was screaming, frothing at the mouth, and hitting buttons as fast as I could.
This game is awesome.
There are also other modes (one which uses the touch screen only) and they are equally fun versions of Tetris but you have to think in a different way for each. Over all I give it a thumbs up.
(if you want a real review that tells about the rest of the game go to a game review site)

I think that’s the most accurate discription of upper levels of tetris you could find, on any site.
But really, what’s the point of the game when it’s so fast that nothing can happen?
I don’t get it. Yet I love it when I’m playing it.

I like how you didn’t mention the fact that I totally BEAT YOU a few times.
