Lacking Deep Thoughts
October 3rd, 2004
I’m lacking deep thoughts right now. It’s a nice change, hah hah!
The weather is finally getting cold, w00t w00t!! I love this colder weather, screw that hot, humid crap. I like being able to go outside and wear pants and a sweat shirt, it’s so cosy. Plus, I sleep better when it’s kinda cold.
The other day Bill got the 2nd Volume of Invader Zim!! It’s so awesome, we’ve been watching it a lot and it’s so freak’n funny. It’s really no wonder that they took it off the air. It would definitely scar kids for life, but it just makes the show funnier to think that it was supposed to be for kids. It reminds me of the part in Napoleon Dynamite when the farmer is trying to shoot the cow. It takes him forever to aim, then cock the gun, then re-aim, then try to pull the rusty trigger. The just as he shoots the cow, a bus full of little children drives by. Then a beautiful shot of the inside of the bus and all of the kids have their faces pressed against the window and they’re all screaming in horror. I can only count 4 times when I truly laughed that hard:
1. Cow Getting Shot in Napoleon Dynamite
2. Katie’s comment on me squatting in the kitchen and pooping
3. Zora’s joke about “A Child Named Piano”
4. When Lauren and I were watching 2 guys move a Foos-Ball downstairs
And now, I’m off to do homework which need attending to… and my ‘do homework’ I mean watch Invader Zim…
