Writing It Down

I have started using a journal!! Or maybe it would be better suited as a diary… But that sounds feminine so, despite my girlish figure, I shall call is a journal. Today I just sat down and wrote everything. Lyrics I liked, thoughts running through my head as they happened and so on. It was fantastic! Here’s a general summary of what I wrote in note form:
- “This is what you get, When you mess with us.” -Radio Head
- Monica H’s video installation I helped out with.
- Hal’s comment about me wearing headphones.
- Me defending my right to wear headphones.
- A metaphor of me staring at my reflections.
- People getting to know me.
- “I won’t call you baby anymore.”
- “It’s just one of those days” and will I become like David Ross?
- Infected Mushroom and Incubus are awesome bands/groups.
- I like the “b” in subtle because it is very subtle
- I need to eat more.
- “Goodbye girl, you know it’s only loooove.”

and finally a quote from a song that I can’t remember where I got it:

I’ll write you a song and I hope that you don’t mind because all the names and places I have taken from your life. So please, don’t be upset at this portrait that I paint, it may be a little biased but at least I spelled your name right.

These are just thoughts and are really quite random. They’re not meant for anyone in particular except for myself, but I thought you would all like to hear them since I added this disclaimer.
I like having a journal, it’s fun and exciting and new. The weekend is here, this’ll be good. Updates later!

i’m sure david ross wears his headphones when he’s drumming it up in iowa. i think that you’re much sexier than ross, but then again i’ve never rubbed shaving cream all over him. hmmm–awkward. and a house a block away from yours hasn’t exploaded. yet. and you’re far more interesting. and it just occurs to me that i could be talking about a different ross. anywho, you rock (hard abs).

ain’t that song from the postal service, natural anthem?

Goodbye girl…isn’t that a Franz song? I think it is! I’m so proud of mah brudda. But not of me, because I lost that CD I think. Damn!
